The 24-year-old rapper had a double role as host and musical guest on the recent episode of the late-night sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. In addition to hosting, he took the stage as a musical guest.
During a segment in which Harlow, SNL cast members Ego Nwodim, and Andrew Dismukes embarked on a haunted attraction, the iconic Halloween character, Tom Hanks, made a return appearance. Hanks was accompanied by his trusty pumpkin skeleton sidekicks, portrayed by Mikey Day and Bobby Moynihan, a former Saturday Night Live star. Moynihan also made an appearance on Weekend Update, playing both himself and his famous character, Drunk Uncle.
As the group journeyed through the attraction, encountering characters like Michael Myers and Annabelle, the crowd inside the studio erupted in wild cheers when they came face to face with Hanks’ beloved character.
David S. Pumpkins made surprise appearances throughout the ride, instilling fear in the audience even though his antics remained a mystery among the other horror icons.
Harlow participated in several skits during the show, including one where he portrayed a frat boy dressed as a tampon for Halloween and another in which he took on the role of an AA meeting attendee with a genius idea for a Pixar movie. In a cameo appearance, the 66-year-old Hanks also featured in the latter sketch.
Survivor host Jeff Probst made a cameo appearance in a sketch that revolved around a Halloween-themed wedding, with the groom’s best man dressed as the Joker. This was another standout moment from the episode.
